Ralf schaute auf den Puppenwagen. «Wer hat dich denn so zugerichtet?»
Der Wagen lag rücklings auf der Werkbank, und Ralf drehte mit dem Zeigefinger das linke Hinterrad. Es eierte. Bei jeder Umdrehung hob es sich ein Stück und kam wieder herunter, und Ralf summte falsch dazu.
Das Dorf der letzten Fragen
In Wendheim muss man aufpassen, was man fragt.
Wenn jemand in Wendheim unbedingt etwas wissen will, kann seine Frage einen Zauber auslösen. Als Bäcker Brodski sich fragte, ob Brötchen lieber krumm oder gerade sein wollten, waren eine Woche lang alle Brötchen in Wendheim zu Knoten geschlungen. Und Herr Quint, der Uhrmacher, wollte als junger Mann wissen, wie ein Kuckuck rückwärts klingt. Da flog der Kuckuck aus seiner besten Uhr davon, und seitdem hat ihn niemand mehr gesehen.
GAME OVER
Es war der beste Moment seines Lebens.
Zumindest fühlte es sich so an, und bei Ben Kellermann war das so ziemlich dasselbe.

A thriller in which a healing has dangerous consequences. A children’s novel full of magic, friendship and humour. And an adventure about a boy who is so absorbed in gaming that he misses out on real life. FARBEN, Das Dorf and GAME OVER could hardly be more different. For me, that is part of the joy of writing.
