The story
In Wendheim, you have to be careful what you ask. A curious question can set off a spell. Leni discovers this when her dad’s hammer suddenly starts to sing.
But the magic could soon come to an end. Beneath the village, Leni, Mia and Elias discover a hall filled with lost belongings. A board lists Dad’s birthday. Beside it are the words “Last space”. What does that mean? The three friends want to find out before the day arrives.
A warm-hearted adventure about courage, friendship and family. To read alone, read aloud and laugh along with, for every child who has one more question.
Das Dorf der letzten Fragen
A short excerpt from the German original.
In Wendheim muss man aufpassen, was man fragt.
Man wusste nie, wann man Schnur brauchte.
Der Hammer machte weiter tock.
«Papa», sagte Leni.
